Help with Easy2Fly
Short answers to the questions people ask most. If yours is missing, write to us.
Write to us
Email au@civic.ai. Tell us your device, whether you use the web app or a native app, the flight number and date if you have them, and what you expected to see.
Easy2Fly keeps no account, so we cannot look anything up for you. Describe what you see on screen, and leave out any health details.

Does it work offline?
Yes. The iPhone, Android and Mac apps carry the planner and the airport list and use your device’s time zone rules, so they work in airplane mode from the first launch. The web app works offline once it has loaded: open it once with a connection, then add it to your Home Screen. The flight-number lookup, where your version has one, is the only feature that needs a connection.
Why is my flight not found?
The lookup reads a public schedule page, and that page lists only about the next two weeks. Check the flight code and the date. If the day you asked for is missing, Easy2Fly lists the days the schedule does have. The schedule site can also refuse a request, and some versions of Easy2Fly have no lookup.
In each case, choose Airports, then enter both airports and both local times by hand. The plan works the same way. The privacy page lists what the lookup sends.
Do I need to enter the arrival time?
Easy2Fly needs to know where and when you land. A flight lookup fills the arrival in. If you add a flight by hand, Easy2Fly suggests an arrival time from the distance and shows it for you to edit. Replace the suggestion with the real time when you know it, because the plan places sleep and light against your arrival.
Why does the plan start the day before?
The night before a flight sets up the flight. The plan begins at your wake time the day before you fly and tells you when to stop caffeine, when to dim the lights and when to go to bed, so you board with your sleep and body clock where the plan needs them. If that day has already passed, the plan covers the days from now.
What if my flight is delayed?
Open Trips, choose the flight and tap Delayed. Pick the delay, or edit the times by hand. The plan updates at once. You can change a flight at any time, with no deadline and no locked settings.
Can I change my sleep times?
Yes. Open You, set your usual bedtime and how long you sleep, and choose early bird, in between or night owl. All your plans update at once. The plan works best when these match an ordinary week at home.
Is melatonin required?
No. Melatonin is off until you switch it on. The plan works without it and may take longer to move your clock. If you use it, read the cautions on the science page first, and ask a doctor or pharmacist if you take any medicine, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have epilepsy or take a blood thinner.
How do I get reminders on the web?
A web page cannot schedule alerts that fire after you close it. Send the plan to your calendar instead. Easy2Fly saves a calendar file with an alert for each step, and your calendar app delivers them, in airplane mode too once the events are on your device. The iPhone, Android and Mac apps schedule reminders on the device, so they fire in airplane mode.
How do I delete my data?
Open You, choose Your data, then Delete everything. On the web you can also clear the site data for easy2fly.app in your browser settings. On iPhone and Android, removing the app deletes its data. On Mac, deleting the app leaves the file in ~/Library/Application Support/Easy2Fly behind; delete that folder too. Easy2Fly keeps no copy elsewhere.
Which airports and time zones does it cover?
Easy2Fly searches thousands of airports worldwide offline, by code, city or name. The list comes from open data and keeps airports that have an IATA code and a known time zone, most with scheduled passenger service. If yours is missing, pick a nearby airport in the same time zone and tell us.
Zones on the half hour or quarter hour, such as India, Nepal and Newfoundland, work in the planner and the airport list. If the flight-number lookup declines a flight in one of those zones, add the flight by hand.
